Overview of Speaking Practice Test
Purpose➧ To simulate the Speaking section of the IELTS test under real test conditions.
Components
➧ Includes all three parts of the IELTS Speaking test.
Timing
➧ 11-14 minutes total.
Speaking Test Format
Part 1 Introduction and Interview | 4-5 minutes➧ General questions about yourself, your home, work, studies, and interests.
Part 2 Long Turn | 3-4 minutes
➧ You will be given a task card with a topic.
➧ You have 1 minute to prepare and then speak for 1-2 minutes.
Part 3 Discussion | 4-5 minutes
➧ Further discussion on the topic introduced in Part 2.
➧ You will answer more abstract and complex questions.
