Lunch Plan - 6 Months Old


Week 1

Introducing solids to your 6-month-old can be a joyful and nourishing experience. This 4-week lunch plan focuses on simple, nutritious, and age-appropriate purees and mashed foods. Each meal is designed with single or gently combined ingredients for easy digestion and allergen monitoring. Always consult your pediatrician before introducing new foods.

Tips Before You Start:

How to Use This Plan:
Use fresh ingredients.

Lunch Recipe
Zucchini Purée

Ingredients
1 small zucchini (peeled and chopped)

Instructions
Steam until soft. Blend into a smooth puree. Add a bit of water if needed.

Ingredients
½ cup peeled, cubed butternut squash

Instructions
Steam until soft. Blend into a smooth puree.

Ingredients
1 apple
1 small carrot

Instructions
Steam both together. Blend until smooth.

½ cup peas (fresh or frozen)

½ zucchini

Instructions
Steam together and blend.

2 tbsp cooked rice
1 small steamed carrot

Instructions
Blend rice and carrot together with a little water or breastmilk.
