This week introduces more texture variety and gently spiced, toddler-safe flavors to keep little ones curious and engaged at mealtime.

Lunch Recipe
Sweet Potato & Lentil Mash
A filling, iron-rich combo that’s smooth and comforting.
Ingredients
½ small sweet potato (peeled, chopped)
2 tbsp cooked red lentils
Pinch of cumin (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil sweet potato until soft.
2. Mix with cooked lentils and mash together.
3. Add a pinch of cumin for flavor. Let cool before serving.

Egg & Avocado Sandwich Squares
Soft, creamy, and full of healthy fats and protein.
Ingredients
½ ripe avocado
1 boiled egg yolk (or whole egg if ready)
1 small slice soft wholegrain bread
Instructions
1. Mash avocado and egg together.
2. Spread onto bread and cut into small squares or fingers.

1 tbsp grated carrot or zucchini (lightly steamed)

Instructions

2. Form into small balls with clean hands.
3. Serve warm or room temperature.

Soft and flavorful bites with lean protein.
Ingredients
¼ cup cooked minced chicken
1 tbsp grated zucchini or carrot
1 tsp flour or breadcrumbs
Instructions
1. Mix ingredients into a soft dough.
2. Form into mini patties and pan-fry until cooked through.
3. Cool before serving.

A sweet and protein-rich roll-up for toddlers over 12 months.
Ingredients
½ ripe banana
1 tsp smooth unsweetened peanut butter
1 soft mini tortilla
Instructions
1. Mash banana and mix with peanut butter.
2. Spread on tortilla, roll up tightly, and slice into pinwheels.
