➧ Did you know a rabbit changes as it grows?
➧ A rabbit starts as a tiny baby inside its mother, becomes a newborn kit, grows into a young rabbit, and finally becomes an adult rabbit!
➧ This amazing growth is called a life cycle.
➧ Let’s discover each stage together!

The Rabbit Life Cycle
Rabbits grow in stages
1. Gestation
➧ A mother rabbit carries baby rabbits inside her body➧ The babies grow safely before they are born
➧ This stage happens before the kits are born

➧ The rabbit life begins inside the mother
2. Newborn | Kit
➧ A baby rabbit is called a kit➧ Kits are tiny and cannot see when they are born
➧ They stay warm in a nest and drink milk from their mother

3. Young Rabbit | Juvenile
➧ The young rabbit opens its eyes and grows soft fur➧ It starts hopping and exploring
➧ It begins eating grass and vegetables

4. Adult Rabbit
➧ The rabbit becomes fully grown➧ Adult rabbits can run fast and care for babies
➧ They can start the life cycle again
